more on Timp

We saw a heard of Mountain Goats by Emerald Lake and watched them while we ate lunch.

The wild flowers and bees were fun to watch.

On the way down we got a photo by the waterfall.

LaRon showed us a clam fossil in the limestone rock on the trail on the way down. He is a retired geologists.

Hiking Timp

We hiked up to Emerald Lake from Aspen Grove. It took us 8 hrs and we climbed over 3000 ft.

The wildflowers were wonderful.

We hiked to the top of the ridge and over to the lake. We are realy exhausted now, but glad that we can still hike.

Grandkids are cute

Here are some photos taken of Amy & Esther. They have been here several days and it has been fun. Esther is good natured. Amy talks up a storm and her vocabulary increases by the day. They enjoyed the little wading pool and eating rasberries.

Nature is amazing

A cat spider caught a bumble bee on our lavendar.

The last robin to leave the nest in our back porch hanging basket.

The iris and lupin were lovely this year. I divided them and it might be a while until they are as lovely.
