Taylor Family Reunion

For the first time in 10 years we were all together for a family reunion.  Jeff, Lisa & Sharissa flew out.  Sadly, Sharissa's children, Trevor and Sara were not able to come, but it was great to have everyone else.  We met on the 21st and enjoyed the day together.  It was a short time, but it meant a lot to be together and visit.

Olsen Family reunion in Logan

We were in Logan for the Olsen Family reunion.  Christina's family and Ben's family were there along with my sister, Jan.   We watched the grandkids while Ryan and Christina went to the temple in the morning and while Ben and Shera helped her brother on his new house.

Mt. Rainier and Oregon Coast

We drove to Paradise, Washington at the base of Mt. Rainier.

 There were lots of white alpine lilies.

 We got up early and took photos of Mt. Rainier at Reflection Lake.

We drove to Lincoln City, OR and stayed with my siblings at a beach house.

We visited, ate wonderful meals, visited the Oregon Aquarium, walked on the beach

 and visited the Ward in Lincoln City.

The girls watching the rhino eat.  Usually they have their back to me while I am trying to get a photo to record the experience. The  Hogle Zoo does a good job of making places for kids to see the animals. 

I rode up with Ben and it was fun to visit up and back.  He is a good sport and Ezra reminds me of Ben when he was a baby.  It was fun to see Ryan & Christina.  They drove down from Logan in part to celebrate Lena's first birthday which is next week.  Jenny came up with Annabelle and was at a conference while we went with Ben's family to the zoo.  Ryan's siblings met them there too.  Great time had by all.  

Vegas & Grandkids

We went and saw Jenny's family in Boulder while we were in Vegas.  Enclosed are some photos.

Eliza had her 3rd birthday with jello cake.

Annabelle, Eliza & Andrew.  Notice Andrew is missing his two front teeth.  We watched them while Jenny went to a Writers' conference.  I was able to walk with my walking boot.  

Serge and Annabelle in front of their new house.  There is a lot of yard projects along with other house projects.  Andrew has his own room and he keeps it really clean.  He told the girls, "my room is not the toy room."  Jenny really likes the extra room, the neighbors, and the community in Boulder. 

We enjoyed the beautiful flowers at the Bellagio and came back to enjoy my orchids which have 

re-bloomed this Spring in our bathroom.

Lena is pulling Esther's hair while Christina reads a story to Amy.   I spent 3 days helping Christina while Ryan was in Germany.  My broken ankle is mending and feels better, but so far I am not allowed to put any weight on it.  So I get around by wheel chair since I am a klutz on crutches.  Hopefully I will be able to get back on my feet soon.  It has been over a month since I have driven a car.
