I love being Grandma Taylor

I drove up and stayed the night with Christina, Ryan, Amy & Esther, who is learning to smile. They made an offer on a house, but then decided they could not afford the utilities. It was nice to visit with Amy and to hold Esther.

 

Ben & Rylee came over on Sat. and we had fun visiting. Rylee's hair was sticking straight up. She is pretty laid back and mellow about things. It was fun to chat with Ben. He helped with some things on my laptop. Shera came later with Robbie and his girlfriend and we had soup for dinner. Shera had been taking engagement photos for a friend of Robbie. She does an excellent job.

 

January cleaning

 

I have been cleaning out my work room. It may not look like much but this photo shows major improvement. I have been slowly throwing away things and files and taking things to D.I. I'm getting files organized. It takes forever to got through 30 years of files and boxes and boxes. My goal is to have a useful room that can also be a playroom for grandkids when they visit.

Ryan's family came over for photos. We took them in the basement. But it was past Amy's bedtime so she was asleep and not in them. I took a photo of Christina, Ryan, Amy & Esther later and used photo shop to copy her in with Ryan.

Sunday, Ryan's sister will bless her baby girl. It has been fun having them here. Esther is so cuddley. Amy is quite funny and really enjoys Opa.
